Grand Marshal Rodeo Parade Add Excitement to Houston rodeo
Footballers join the fever of Houston rodeo, now J. J. Watt and Andre Johnson are part of the Houston Grand Marshals in 2012 Houston rodeo. It is not possible to start the New Year with something more exciting than the rodeo. Leading the way will be Houston’s own two stars. Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Downtown Rodeo Parade have a special importance of this event. Just like the Houston rodeo 2011, this year it will be phenomenal too.
Skip Wagner the President of the event said, “There cannot be a better way for celebrating the show other than such kickoff. These athletes will lead the event towards a successful outcome.” There are Texans putting their heart and soul into the event and show gives you more of an exceptional relationship with the city. It is more like a testament and strong partnership with devoted Houstonians getting together for Houston rodeo concerts and competitions.
Johnson has a glorious NFL career; he has been playing since 2003. This Texan has been part of two playoff games with 13 receptions and it was for more than 200 yards, along with a 40 yard catch for touchdown. Watt is more of a rookie and he is part of NFL since 2011 by the Houston Texans again. Defensive gamer for Badgers and many famous games to his credit, he was first to intercept Andy Dalton pass when playing against Cincinnati Bengals during his playoff game.
Houston rodeo is scheduled for 25th February 2012. The parade will follow the event known as 25th Annual Conoco Phillips Rodeo Run. It is where all the funds actually come from. This year Rodeo Run can expect more entries, about 15,000.
