Fort Worth Stock Show Sees Defending Champ Lead Houston rodeo
Evan Jayne is celebrating his victory of winning World’s Original Indoor Rodeo; the best part is doing the feat twice. Houston rodeo is not easy to win after repeated trials. This Marseille, France based champ will earn title for third time in a row.
Based in Texas this performer had been competing with Austin Foss, belonging to Terrebonne Ore. By teaching Agriculture mechanics, this rodeo enthusiast came to try riding one bucking horse. Despite an injury to his leg a year ago, Jayne came back with full strength to win the game. At the Texas Circuit Finals he hurt artery and leg, but earned 236 points on the three head and had to undergo emergency surgery. There were many such action packed countenances at the Houston rodeo 2011.
The possible plans for future involve trail hard for the rodeo and be part of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo the next year. Despite coming close in 2009, he couldn’t nail it to top, but earned 19th place in Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association.
Jayne entered America as exchange student to train in rodeo. Houston rodeo concerts bring him to different parts of the country and even to Sam Houston State University. He competed and even qualified for finals at the college. There are many more different rodeo champs to visit Houston for the upcoming Houston rodeo.
His competitor Austin Foss is also from college rodeo and continues to compete there. Bareback riding is under his command, Northwest Region of National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association held for the Blue Mountain Community College.
