Bullied Senior Takes To the Gun – Houston news
Shootings in school and college campuses are getting very common these days. First of its kind for the year 2012, Houston local news reported that a senior from high school was accused for shooting a classmate and even wounding on the school campus. The suspect has been imprisoned on a $30,000 bond.
Warren Lewis is the student charged with the assault as per Houston news. Elected by the student body representative and titled as the Homecoming King, this senior had to take the help of arms to get back to the students that bullied him at the North Forest High School.
As per the reports, Lewis accepted that he felt the need to protect the family and he was tired of constant bullying, so he took a gun to school as said in a discussion with the judge. Houston daily news reports have not seen such cases lately.
The authorities at school say that Lewis got involved in off campus fight and this led to shooting of a 16 year old school freshman who got shot in the brawl, not originally the intended target.
Reports indicate that Victor Alvarado, the victim is stable in hospital. Arnold Alvarado, the elder brother indicated that Victor was shot in the upper right leg. There has been a history of fights involved with the life of victim. Arnold Alvarado informed that his brother got transferred from another school as he got into fighting problems, so he joined North Forest High School.
