Houston music Concert Ready to Welcome 2012

houston musicHoustonians are getting ready to welcome 2012 in a grand way. The biggest celebration at New Year’s Eve will be held at the George R. Brown Convention Center and Discovery Green. Houston music based event that brings Lone Star State to downtown with live music, the Gloworama, featuring 3D light shows, fireworks and illuminated parade. The free, family oriented event is scheduled on 31st from 7.00 p.m. onwards to midnight.

As per the organizers, this will be nothing like the Houston music concerts or performances seen by other cities in the country for beginning a new year. It is completely revamped entertainment package.

Last year Gloworama had been a huge success and many new features are added to the Houston music concert scheduled for grand welcome of year 2012. The large stage is being setup in the centre of the park at Discovery Green. Beer and bubbles is also part of the idea where attendees above 21 can have some fun. The skating rink will be open for ice skaters to have some good time at the St. Joseph Medical Center’s Ice.

Just like every other Houston music festival this gala event is welcoming the year with exhilaration. Viewers will be enchanted by fleets of glowing automobiles, floats, marvelous contraptions as the parade takes over Avenida de las Americas to circle through the area of Discovery green then from Bill and Andrea White Promenade. Next will be the anticipated light show with 3D effects that will usher attendees to a prosperous 2012. Finally the Houston music show and fireworks will follow the extravaganza. The fireworks will shoot across George R. Brown Convention Centre roof at the downtown area.

It is bound to be a memorable event beyond the regular celebration or shows broadcasted from Houston music studios. The event can be seen on television channels as Houstonians check out a memorable experience welcoming 2012.
