MLK Youth Parade Welcomes 2012 – Houston events
The tradition of celebrating the New Year with family has not been replaced by any other changing trends. You can start one if you are not in the league, start with the Houston events like MLK Youth Parade. Honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., one of the biggest events of the year is scheduled for 14th January 2012.
Well known Houston events 2012 will see this special consensus building promotion. Each year on the third Monday of January this parade is held. The emphasis is on multiple cultures and diversity through this single event sponsored by the community. There are networks participating in this activity like the Church, Schools and the participation involves Administrators, Ministers and Educators.
This is about Human race and is considered more of a One Race. This parade is focused on the ethnic, cultural, spiritual and the complete inheritance works on the differences which turns as a positive impact for humans.
The Houston events this weekend maybe special for you, but it will be nothing compared to the parade. Getting some outdoor activity and working on family traditions can begin this time. With the 2012 theme being “Empowerment through Education” this parade is deemed to be a big hit.
The Houston events are all focused in downtown area, this parade will begin in Midtown area of the city. Starting from San Jacinto Street along Elgin Street this event will spread the smiles towards north bound San Jacinto street going towards Webster Street.
