Performance Check – Houston Aeros lose by 5-2!
The Houston Aeros schedule came to a pause when match was lost against Oklahoma City. Friday night at the convocation centre, Houston Aeros lost to Oklahoma City by 5-2 even though Jon DiSalvatore and Joel Broda got to score goals. The exciting match at Cox Convention Center was as per the schedule.
The scores of Houston Aeros were exciting enough before the game in the AHLs. Matt Hackett tried with his 27 saves to beat the competition. Although 21-10-3-9 was not sufficient to help the team grab the trophy in the West Division. Houston came in second to Oklahoma City.
At the 8th minute of third period Broda’s 9th goal was an attempt by Houston Aeros to keep up with Oklahoma City by 4-1 and when DiSalvatore hit his 13th goal using the power play within next three minutes for scoring 4-2.
The Houston Aeros tickets were worth for the viewers as game got exciting when Mark Arcobello scored goal through the empty net and took over the game at 17.53. This was his second goal of night.
Arcobello and Josh Green scored during the first period while Hunter Tremblay and Teem Hartikainen took the team to lead with 4-0 goals during the second period.
The Barons could get 28 saves with the effort of Yann Danis.
San Antonio welcomes Houston for the San Antonio Rampage on Saturday at 7.0 pm at the AT&T center. Thursday will be the day when Aeros return home and get to face the Texas Stars at Toyota Center by 7.05 p.m.
