Houston news School Students Health in Jeopardy

Cleveland High SchoolHouston local news announced shocking news, where more than a dozen students had to get treatment for overdose on Tuesday. Cleveland High School students felt sick after their lunch break and many appeared intoxicated.

Such incidents at schools are very rare and the number of kids involved made the school officials very suspicious. As this occurred after lunch, there are speculations about the food and more than eight students were sent to hospital.

Emergency situation arose and the ambulances had to be called to transport the students to health care facility immediately. Cleveland Regional hospital and the Kingwood hospital were treating the kids for their health problems as per the Houston daily news.

One student Donte Dixon said the medical supplies were provided and the student was given treatment while being taken to the hospital. From a distance he looked drowsy, as per Dixon, like he got up after a slumber.

As per reports there were more 9 students who were also taken to the hospital. The ambulances and all chaos did put many parents in a minor panic mode when students were being taken to the hospital.  The parents almost believe there had been a shooting session at school. There was no answer from the authorities or bystanders when asked initially. Parents had to find it out in a very disturbing manner about the health scare as per Houston news.

Many tests have been conducted to find out more about the reason for such intoxication and possible sickness. There is chance a student bought some substance to school, police is still questioning about it to the suspected student.

Rains Bring Heat Relief and Tornados to City – Houston news

There are areas like Memorial Villages which normally get 1.5 inch of downpour now recorded to have heaviest rains according to Houston weather news. The bad weather in Houston was welcome mainly for the rains. West University recorded to have half an inch of rainfall and weather bug indicates there will be more rains.

On Wednesday Houston had heavy spells of rain as winds rolled across the city flooding the local area with two tornadoes. There were numerous storms and serious injuries also were indicated.

Bullied Senior Takes To the Gun – Houston news

The suspect has been imprisoned on a $30,000 bond.

Warren Lewis is the student charged with the assault as per Houston news. Elected by the student body representative and titled as the Homecoming King, this senior had to take the help of arms to get back to the students that bullied him at the North Forest High School.

As per the reports, Lewis accepted that he felt the need to protect the family and he was tired of constant bullying, so he took a gun to school as said in a discussion with the judge. Houston daily news reports have not seen such cases lately.

The authorities at school say that Lewis got involved in off campus fight and this led to shooting of a 16 year old school freshman who got shot in the brawl, not originally the intended target.

Reports indicate that Victor Alvarado, the victim is stable in hospital. Arnold Alvarado, the elder brother indicated that Victor was shot in the upper right leg. There has been a history of fights involved with the life of victim. Arnold Alvarado informed that his brother got transferred from another school as he got into fighting problems, so he joined North Forest High School.

After Murder 2 Suspects Out There – Reported Houston daily news

Houston News reported on Thursday 3 suspects wanted after a man was stabbed and beaten to death. A case of home robbery in Houston, West Harris country is being investigated.

In crime of murder of 31 year old man Russel Lopez, Amber Thornton, 22 is being charged with murder. The incidence reported on December 20, to a home in Silvermill subdivision, the 19300 Plantain block in morning at 9.45 am. Criminal is being held at Harris County prison.

As per Houston local news the deputies have released arrest warrants for two suspects related to the case. Identified as Joseph Faundo, 18 and Tony Escobar, 17 these suspects are charged with the crime of capital murder. The main motive for attach has been indicated as robbery.

When Lopez’s wife turned back from work she found her husband dead whereas the two of three children were tied up, although unharmed.
